We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Play Assistants who can organise and deliver play opportunities and events at our four adventure playground sites.
You should have experience of working with children and young people and a good understanding of OFSTED requirements and other child related legislation. Ideally you will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 (certificate in play work), or be committed to achieving this qualification, and will have excellent communication skills.
A positive attitude towards customer service issues is essential as well as a willingness to attend training and meetings when appropriate. You will have an understanding of and commitment to the values of play and equal opportunities and possession of a current first aid certificate in order to help us deliver a comprehensive and ‘child centred’ activity programme. You will be required to work a variety of hours which will include evenings and weekends.
Satisfactory clearance of Criminal Records Bureau check will be a condition of employment for these posts.
