This year the Awards will take place on 4th March 2010, at the Hilton London Gatwick, with a pre-dinner reception sponsored by the Gatwick Diamond Initiative.
This Black Tie event will see the very best of the Gatwick Diamond Business Community come together and the Awards will be presented by Nick Hewer, the ‘eyes and ears’ of Sir Alan Sugar on the BBC’s ‘The Apprentice’. Visit www.gatwickdiamondbusinessawards.com to find out more.
This year, Crawley Borough Council is proud to be a headline sponsor for the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards in the Green Category.
There are three green awards in the following categories:
• The Green Award for Sustainable Travel and Transport
• The Green Award for the Use of Energy
• The Green Award for Recycling
"Crawley Borough Council is extremely proud to once again be the headline sponsor of the three awards in the Green category at this year's Gatwick Diamond Business Awards (GDBA). Businesses in the Gatwick Diamond are leading the way in showing how green business practices can make a positive impact on the environment, create jobs, improve efficiency, and increase profits. The GBDA will identify the leading companies in the Gatwick Diamond that have married their business goals with environmental aims."
"As a local authority, Crawley Borough Council is profoundly committed to meeting the needs of its people by leading the change towards a more environmentally responsible future and as such we are proud to recognise what these businesses are achieving environmentally."
