The response to this year’s Crawley Business Debate was even more positive than last year with 150 delegates signing up to attend the event, which took place at Virgin Atlantic Airways, The Base, Fleming Way.
The Panel, made up of leading members of the Council and representatives from the business community, discussed a wide variety of issues including feelings of optimism, Gatwick Airport, the image of the town and what the key priorities for economic action ought to be.
In a twist to last year’s event the opinions of the audience - consisting of a mix of big companies, small businesses and sole traders - had a chance to vote on key issues using an interactive electronic voting system.
