Crawley Borough Council can collect your unwanted furniture and other bulky items, white and electrical goods from your home.
If you require a bulky waste collection please phone 01293 438772 or come into the Town Hall.
The Bulky Waste Collection service operates every week day apart from Wednesdays and every other Thursday. We can collect your bulky items on a day that is convenient to you as long as there is an available slot. Please note we cannot provide time collections.
Items must be outside, accessible and ready for collection by 7.30am on the date agreed at the time of booking.

Residents who are receiving benefits may qualify for one free collection of bulky household waste or white and electrical equipment in every 12 months. This free collection is limited according to the size and number of items requiring collection up to a maximum amount of £38.80. Some benefits may be excluded.
We must always make a charge (regardless of income status) for fire damaged goods, baths (plastic only), sinks, toilets, kitchen units and radiators.
You can transport your own items to the Crawley Household Waste Recycling Site and dispose of them free of charge. Please note if you intend to transport bulky items to this site using your own or hired van, as opposed to a car, refer to the User Guidelines first.
Alternatively you can use a private contractor to collect and dispose of unwanted items ensuring the contractor is a Registered Waste Carrier first.
This is always better than sending it to a landfill.
