The town’s Victorian bandstand has been refurbished, restored and relocated to the Memorial Gardens.
The bandstand was first constructed for Gatwick Racecourse in 1891, so started its life in green surroundings. The restoration work was funded by Crawley Borough Council, West Sussex County Council and the Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership.
It was officially reopened in June 2018 with a performance from the Crawley Millennium Concert Band
Details of how to book the bandstand will be made available shortly.
