Tilgate Park Spring Foraging Course Food and Drink Tilgate Park All Ages some charges 21/04/2018 21/04/2018 one day We will meet at the Smith and Western at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on what to look for and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to foragers.

Then we'll set off for a 2-3 hour walk around the park identifying the different Spring shoots, plants, flowers and hopefully mushrooms that we find. There will be a break somewhere along the way for our lovely hogweed and wild garlic soup.

We will finish the day off with a light wild food lunch based on what we have found. This will include some tasty treats made from our recent finds, a wild salad that we will pick on the day and possibly even some wild garlic pesto that we'll make in front of you.

After the walk we will email you details of all the plants and mushrooms we find to help you remember what you have learnt. There are limited spaces available so please book your tickets online.
