Don’t let turkey spoil your Christmas

Christmas Dinner Only one in four people get it right by defrosting their turkey in the fridge. Incorrect thawing provides a platform for bacteria such as campylobacter to spread, leaving you with a turkey dinner that looks and tastes delicious but contains a hidden risk that can’t be seen, tasted or smelled, but can ruin your new year.

Stay safe this festive season by checking out the Food Standards agency’s essential turkey tips .

There are major changes to train services from 20 December 2014, continuing into the New Year. See full details at and plan your journey at National Rail Enquiries .
