Crawley Museum Society

The Museum Society is based at Goffs House in Goffs Park, and also looks after Ifield Mill. The museum in Goffs House is open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 2 - 4pm, mid-January until mid-December. Admission is free.

Permanent exhibits include Stone Age (Neolithic), Iron Age, Bronze Age and Roman items. There are also exhibitions on local churches, Crawley’s last shoemaker and a Victorian kitchen. There are temporary exhibits which change every six months. The Society always welcomes new members.

The Mark Lemon Society

The Mark Lemon Society was founded in 1991 to mark the 150th anniversary of Punch magazine, and as a celebration of its co-founder and first editor, Mark Lemon, who lived at 'Vine Cottage' in Crawley High Street from 1858 until his death in 1870.

The Society holds four seasonal evenings of entertainment in the Regency Room at the George Hotel.

Sussex Family History Group

The library is open to members and contains material collected by the Sussex Family History Group for use when researching family history.
