What is Play Care?

Our great quality holiday Play Care is available at Cherry Lane and Waterlea Adventure Playgrounds for up to 24 children at each site, aged between 5* and 12 years old.

A unique environment helps children to learn and develop whilst playing. From run-outs, bug hunts, to arts and crafts and cooking activities your child will benefit from our vast range of indoor and outdoor play opportunities. Our playgrounds are unique and adaptable and enriched by quality playwork practice.

A tailored activity planner will be available before each holiday to give both the child and parent(s) or carer(s) a flavour of each upcoming holiday. This, along with our dedicated 'free play' will ensure that your child will never be without games, activities or challenges to take part in.

After all the running around and planned activities are complete, children can enjoy quiet time in our relax and chill out areas. Play Care respects diversity and will constantly look to meet the needs of all children.

When is Play Care available?

Playcare is available during school holidays, including half term, between 8.30am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).

How much does it cost?

The charge is £17.50 per day per child. There are discounts available for multiple bookings and siblings – please see the Information and Registration pack for more details.

How to book a place

1. Read our Information Pack. This describes how Play Care works.
2. Read our Child Protection Policy.
3. If you haven't already done so, register your child: Registration Form
4. Download and complete a Play Care Booking Form

Forms can be returned to James Kelly for Cherry Lane or Thomas Frances for Waterlea.

*We can take 5 year olds from the 1st September following their 5th birthday. Please ask a member of staff for more information.
