Crawley Borough Council won the Employee Benefits Award 2009 for Absence Management and Employee Wellbeing Policy. The council has introduced a range of new ideas, as well as using good-practice, policies and absence monitoring schemes.

We have been judged one the best councils in Britain to work for in the Sunday Times ‘Best Companies’ Survey. In 2007 we were placed 11th out of 67 short listed authorities and in 2010 we were the sixth highest placed council in the Best Companies accreditation award scheme for best places to work in the public sector.
