Crawley Council is a forward thinking progressive organisation with a confirmed capital works programme. The delivery of projects to a high quality and on time are vital to its strategy to enhance the environment within which Crawley residents live.
With your experience and technical expertise in project management and construction you will play a vital part in the delivery of Crawley Borough Council’s capital programme including housing schemes within the Council’s “own build” housing programme which will provide on average 200-250 properties per year over the next few years.
The main focus of this position will be the project management of all types of capital schemes including public Realm improvements as well as projects in the “own build” programme.
In addition you will as a vital member of the Built Environment team within the Major Projects and commercial Services Division, you will assist the Built Environment Manager in the coordination and monitoring of the capital projects being undertaken. You will also be a Project Manager, managing a range of construction projects.
As a member of the RICS or CIOB you will have experience of project programming and working on a varied range of construction and residential projects with a good knowledge of design and build contracts.
This post is eligible for an essential car user allowance, therefore a full driving licence is an essential requirement of the role.
