Salary dependent on experience:
£20,571 - £23,431 plus 14% enhancement for weekend working

Do you have a good eye for detail and a positive attitude? Do you enjoy being outside in all weathers in a physically demanding role? Do you have experience in maintenance or construction?

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join the playground maintenance and inspection team. The team are highly trained and skilled, they are responsible for maintaining all of Crawley’s unsupervised playgrounds, four adventure playgrounds, Skate Park and BMX track and ensuring that all sites are safe, clean and welcoming.

We offer specialist training to enable you to become a registered playground operational inspector. Once trained, you will be able to inspect playgrounds to ensure that all the equipment is safe. Working as part of a small team you will also be expected to be able to maintain all aspects of our playgrounds – including the equipment, specialist flooring, fencing, hedges, painting, cleaning, litter picking etc.

You will need to be self-motivated, a strong team-player, flexible and adaptable in approach.
