Crawley was awarded CATEGORY WINNER in the Big Town/Small City category at the 2010 Britain in Bloom awards.
All competitors in the Big Town/Small City were awarded a Silver Gilt award (except for Derry who won Silver) however Crawley was crowned winner by receiving the most points from the judges. In this category Crawley was up against Bedford, Derry City, Fareham and Whitehaven.
Crawley also won a Community Award for its fantastic work with Let’s FACE it! and the Bolney court residents were awarded a neighbourhood national distinction award which was a terrific achievement for them and for Crawley.

After Crawley’s double gold award winning success in 2009 South and South East in Bloom awards, the town was chosen to represent the whole of the South East in the 2010 Britain in Bloom Finals.
