Tendering Opportunities in Crawley

To operate a Local Produce Market in Crawley

Crawley Borough Council is inviting interested operators to run a local produce market in Crawley every Sunday to increase footfall and attract shoppers and visitors to the town. The market will only be open to sellers of foods or crafts whose goods have been produced within a 35 mile radius of Crawley.

Brunel Housing Scheme

Crawley Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from organisations who are interested in providing pre-construction services and works for this contract separately. The proposed development at Brunel Hall will have 15- 20 affordable units to be built for Crawley Borough Council and to be funded directly by the Council as a 100% affordable housing scheme. In addition, there is a firm completion date, which is to be met to remain compliant with funding conditions and obligations.

The scheme is partly funded by a HCA grant and therefore completion of the scheme must be by February 2015. The Council proposes to undertake a pre-qualification and a two stage tender process. The Council will shortlist from the pre-qualification a maximum of four (4) suppliers to move to the first stage of the tender. Part of the first tender stage will include coming up with an indicative design, pre-construction fees and contract sum analysis. Two contractors will be selected to the second stage which is largely clarification around the submitted design, pre-construction fees and contact sum analysis.

Crawley Borough Council is seeking tenders from suitable organisations regarding the opportunity mentioned above for a pre-construction service contract and if successful will enter into a separate Design and Build contract under JCT 2011 for the construction stage.
